真諦譯	有餘師說：有別聲有執依、非執依為因，謂手鼓合生。
玄奘譯	有說：有聲通有執受及無執受大種為因，如手鼓等合所生聲。
英譯	2. According to some other savants a sound may belong to the first two categories at the same time，for example the sound produced by association of the hand and a drum.
現代漢語釋	其他論師說：有的聲同時屬於為四大的因的有執受的聲處和無執受的聲處，如手和鼓等合作所發出的聲。
