梵語	yad yat samanantaraniruddhaṃ vijñanaṃ tanmanodhātur ity ucyeta /
真諦譯	釋曰：六識中隨一無間滅，此識說名意界。
玄奘譯	論曰：即六識身無間滅已，能生後識，故名意界。
英譯	All cognition that has just perished is called manodhātu:
現代漢語釋	六識已經即刻消亡，並能產生後識，因此稱為意界。
