梵語	ṣaṣṭhasya manovijñānadhātor āśrayo 'nyo nāsti /
真諦譯	第六意識界無有別依，為成立此依，故說意界。
玄奘譯	第六意識無別所依，為成此，故說意界。
英譯	the sixth cognition，the mental cognition (manovijñānadhātu) does not have a similar point of support. Therefore，with a view to attribute to this cognition a point of support，they call manas or manodhātu，or still manaāyatana and mana-indriya，that serves at as the point of support，namely any one of the six cognitions.
現代漢語釋	第六意識界沒有別的依憑，為了成就此界的依憑，因此稱為意界。
