梵語	svasyā jāteḥ sabhāgahetutvāt /
真諦譯	此十八法同類相續為同類因，故說名別。
玄奘譯	謂自種類。同類因故。
英譯	The dhātus are the mine of their own species (svasya jāteh): the eye，being the (sabhāgahetu (ii，52) of the posterior moments of the existence of the eye，is the mine，the dhātu of the eye.
現代漢語釋	指各界是各自種類的生本。只是同類的因相同的緣故。
