梵語	sa hi śāstrasaṃjñako 'bhidharma etasminn arthato yathāpradhānam antarbhūta ity etac chāstraṃ tasya kośasthānīyaṃ bhavati /
真諦譯	釋曰：彼文句名阿毗達磨，由隨勝義入此論攝，是故此論於彼得稱為藏。
玄奘譯	論曰：由彼對法論中勝義入此攝故，此得藏名。
英譯	The treatise，that bears the title of Abhidharma，namely the Abhidharmapitaka enters for its meaning，for its substance，in this work，that，therefore，is the Abhidharmakośa，"the case of Abhidharma."
現代漢語釋	這個有經論術語的阿毗達磨，根據主要意義為論所涵蓋，因此，這部論取得了藏的地位。
