梵語	rūpaṃ ca tad rūpakāyatanaṃ jñāsyata ity asya punar nāmāntaraṃ nocyate /
真諦譯	亦是色性，應知是色入故，不立此別名。
玄奘譯	而體是色，立名色處。此為眼等名所簡別，雖標總稱而即別名。
英譯	But the nine other āyatanas too are both āyatana and rūpa: why the name rūpa-āyatana has been given in preference to the object of the organ of view?
現代漢語釋	而它也是色，立名為色處。這是為了與眼等名字相區別，雖標的是總稱，但其實只是與其他處相區別的名稱。
