真諦譯	複有餘師說：二十種品類多餘色故。肉、天、聖慧三眼境故。
玄奘譯	有餘師說：色處中有二十種，色最粗顯故。肉、天、聖慧三眼境故。
英譯	According to another opinion，the visible is called rūpāyatana，because it consists of twenty varieties (blue，etc.)，because it is the domain of three sorts of eye，eye of the fresh，divine eye，eye of cognition (māṃsa-，divya-，prajñācaksus，(Iti*uttaka 61).
現代漢語釋	其他論師說：色處因20種方式的存在而存在。/(色處中一共有二十種，因色最粗顯的緣故)。因其攝肉、天、聖慧三種眼境的緣故 。
