真諦譯
玄奘譯	此能破暗，故稱冥滅。
英譯	He has destroyed all “obscurity”，that is to say; for him or by him the obscurity is destroyed in regard to all，in regard to all knowable(jñeya).
現代漢語釋	因為佛世尊能夠破除黑暗，所以稱其為“冥滅”。
